This is a celebration of a life well, frugally and responsibly lived. At an impressionable age I watched the movie, Auntie Mame, starring Roasalind Russell (quite a lady). In it she says, “The whole world is a banquet and most more suckers are starving to death!” I have seen this move about 20 times and have adopted those words as my personal motto.
Now a retiree, I am enjoying a life made rich with good friends, good wine, good books and the occassional card game. I have done a fair amount of writing, speaking and, now, sharing my views on life in general and the nudist lifestyle in particular. I hope you are enjoying your journey down lifes unpredictable road, and that you will share part of it with me.
Being a fellow writer, it’s great to be able to reach out and touch the mind, isn’t it? Goal is to reach even further, to touch the heart. This blog series is likely to touch the heart and soul of many. Thanks for your thoughts and comments.

Ahhh, touching the heart is much easier when you are a poet. My specialty is op-ed, which means my goal is to prick the skin ever so gently. But being a nudist allows me to mellow out and keep the tone respectable. Glad to talk with you.
So in other words “wake up and smell the roses and try to avoid snorting up the bee”? I look forward to your writing whether it be fair or fare or preferably both.
Being retired gives one time to take a, “long view” of life. When you are young and (appropriately, I believe) caught up in the responsibilities of building a career and a family it is easy to forget that life is more than just keeping the house clean and the bills paid. Now is my time to remind others of that. The nudist life style is a good way to tamp down the type A compulsions.
